Photo Essay
Flow
The subject of my photos is water flowing through a river in New Hampshire. I chose this place because every year I visit it and every year it reminds me of peace and happy memories with my family. The concept of my photos is flow and life's rushes and slow downs. The water in the photo is always flowing and no obstacles can keep it from moving. The water can slow down and speed up just like life can but it keeps on moving. The first photo in the first series is placed there because it reminds me of a problem or issue that is suddenly thrown on you and you don't know what to do. The roar of the waterfall remind me of the chaos of not knowing what to do. The next three photos in the series are all of fast moving water that represent life's rushes. The fifth photo shows water pooling together but still moving. It represents life slowing down but still moving and how people have to keep moving through life no mater what happens. The next series/five photos shows that the water keeps moving and its moving fast. It shows that just as life slows down and can speed up too. Life can have it's ups and downs but as long as you keep moving everything will be alright.
