I like this photo because of the simplicity of it. The stack of shells, which is the focus of the photo, follows the rule of thirds. The rocks rough texture along with the walnuts smooth outer shell also adds an interesting contrast to the photo. The foreground and background are both out of focus and the middle ground is in focus, so it creates a strong focus point for the photo.
I chose this photo because of the leading lines and the mystery the fog creates. The fence leads the eyes up the photo, where slowly the fog is too thick to see anything beyond it. Everything was in focus although the fog causes the sharpness of the photo to decrease. Almost as if a person was standing there and attempting to see through the fog. They couldn't but they wonder what is in it.
I chose this photo because of the silhouette that the tree makes. I really like how the fog changed how the background of the photo looked. The light is dulled down and appears faded instead of the strong color that it usually looks like. The branches lead the eye in different directions, whether you start from the left or the right, towards the center of the photo which is the sun. I also liked how this photo doesn't seem like it would be a picture of fog, someone would expect it to be about something else. I took the photo looking up at the sun which is ironic because most of the time people are looking down at their phone.
I chose this picture due to the repetition of the lines and that these repeating lines lead the eyes through the photo. I also like the contrast of the photo, with the left side being light and the right side being dark. The shadow that the chair creates also adds some contrast too because the leading lines are going horizontal and but the fence shadow lines are going vertical. There are also a lot of repeating shapes as well. The lines from the wall make rectangles and so does the floor. The soccer ball adds contrast because the ball is circular while everything else is straight.
I chose this photo because of the contrast of the red and blue and the silhouette. The red circle is a focal point of the photo that encloses everything in the picture. The silhouette adds mystery to the photo because no one knows who it is.
I chose this photo because of the simplicity and elegance of the photo. The photo is of a tree looking up towards it. This allowed the light to come through and create these small bubbles that make the photo look peaceful. The branch adds contrast to the photo because it is so much darker than the leaves. It also acts as a leading line through the photo.
